So I'm not going to over-verbalize my thoughts ... else I might get a couple of stinky tomatoes as well.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I find Anne Rice novels a dud. I tried, persevered, pushed through, whatever you want to call it, I really did try to stick to reading it. I really did. I sat down and read through pages and pages of it only to find in the middle of my reading that what I was doing made me feel like I'm doing chores! I tried reading Blood and Gold for the sake of this blog but I would be lying to myself if I kept on with it. I'm a self-confessed bookworm but at least I &amp;nbsp;enjoy the things I read about and really have been entertained by them, maybe caught a couple of life-shattering realizations. And yes, I am an avid fan of fiction and fantasy books, but these books left me looking to my bookcase in search of better things to read. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sorry na lang to my cousin who insisted that I read Blood Gold and Blackwood Forest.
